People aged 25 and above are invited for Covid-19 vaccine

All adults aged 25 and above in England who have not yet had a Covid-19 vaccine will be able to book their first dose from today, Tuesday 8th June using the national booking system.

People aged 25 and older can go online or call 119 to book. If you receive a text, please book your appointment and join the millions who are already protect.

Current eligibility for the vaccine through the Salford NHS vaccination service include people aged 30 and over, people aged 16+ who have underlying health conditions, and carers, both paid and unpaid.

People aged 40 and over can attend walk-in clinics, which are regularly promoted through NHS Salford CCG’s social media for regular days and times updates.

People aged 39 and under who are eligible and pregnant women will be offered the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, in line with guidance.

Remember to protect yourself and your family, friends and colleagues you MUST still follow any national or local restrictions and:

  • practise social distancing
  • wear a face mask
  • wash your hands regularly
  • let fresh air in
