Our team Sleep Walk to help our homeless community

Posted: 9th December 2019

Eleven our team members are braving a 10km night walk to help raise money to fight homelessness.

Primary Care Digital Facilitator James Dickinson and Practice Pharmacist Mani Butt have enlisted the help of nine colleagues to take on Shelter’s ‘Sleep Walk’ through the streets of central Manchester on the night of Wednesday, December 11.

Salford Primary Care Together has made a contribution towards staff members’ entry into the fundraiser and the group have a target of £1,040. The team are already nearly at target after using a Just Giving target to help them raise money.

The ‘Sleep Walk’ will see the team and thousands others set off and end at Manchester Central Convention Complex, following a route past some of Manchester’s most iconic sights.
