We are delighted to have launched our Acute Home Visiting Service in two of our neighbourhoods.
The new service has a range of benefits for eligible patients and the practices that they are registered at. These include:
- A more responsive service for patients determined eligible for a home visit
- Care closer to home for these patients
- A reduction in the number of the same patients making repeat appointments at their practice
- A reduction in unnecessary attendances and admissions to A&E
The service is live in the two neighbourhoods of Ordsall and Claremont and Walkden and Little Hulton.
