Hello to our new Neighbourhood Operations Managers

Posted: 7th July 2017

We have welcomed five new team members in the shape of Susan Turner, Geraldine Hennighan, Marion Colohan, Tina Dixon and Anna Cowley.

They join Salford Primary Care Together as Neighbourhood Operations Managers and will be responsible for the overall delivery of services across their respective neighbourhoods, including business and operational management. They will work closely with the Neighbourhood Primary Care Leads and GP practices.

Marion said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Salford Primary Care Together at the start of a very exciting journey. I strongly feel that by supporting our GP practices to work more closely together within neighbourhoods we could see some truly tremendous benefits for patients, for example, new or improved services or the opportunity to see a wider range of health professionals closer to home.”

The leadership teams for the five neighbourhoods are:

Broughton: Neighbourhood Primary Care Lead Dr Aisha Awan and Neighbourhood Operations Manager Tina Dixon

Eccles & Irlam: Neighbourhood Primary Care Lead Dr Clare Gibbons and Neighbourhood Operations Manager Geraldine Hennighan

Ordsall & Claremont – Neighbourhood Primary Care Lead Dr Sheena Bedi and Neighbourhood Operations Manager Marion Colohan

Swinton – Neighbourhood Primary Care Lead Dr Hamish Stedman and Neighbourhood Operations Manager Susan Turner

Walkden & Little Hulton – Neighbourhood Primary Care Lead Dr Ugo Umeadi and Neighbourhood Operations Manager Anna Cowley

Medical Director Dr Mhairi Yates said: “We are really pleased to welcome our five new Neighbourhood Operations Managers who come from a variety of backgrounds and bring a wealth of different skills, expertise and knowledge.”
